To use the Zoom feature:
Read below for detailed iPIX® immersive image navigation instructions.
Looking Around : When your mouse cursor is over an iPIX® image, the cursor
will change to four directional arrows. You can look in any direction by
holding the left mouse button and moving the mouse in the direction you
wish to go. Your mouse cursor should change to a double-ended arrow
pointing in the direction the picture will move.
When some images first load, they automatically "spin" around in a circle. You can halt the movement by clicking on the image area.
Using the Pop-up Menu : You can also navigate using the pop-up menu. You can open the pop-up menu by clicking with your right mouse button on the image. Macintosh users can access this menu by clicking the image while holding down the control key. This menu allows you to zoom in and out, to restore the image view to the initial location, and to re-start image movement. Click on an option with the left-mouse button to activate it.
Zooming : You can zoom in or out by using the "+" and "-" keys on your keyboard, or via a pop-up menu.
Looking Around : You can use your arrow keys or the numeric keypad on your
keyboard to navigate the image. Simply press the arrow that points the
direction you wish to pan. The image will rotate in that direction. To
stop image movement, press the control and period keys at the same time.
To start image rotation again, press control and space bar keys.
Zooming : To zoom in the image, press the "+" or "PgUp" key. To zoom out, press the "-" or "PgDn" key.
To view these Navigation instructions you can open a Help screen by pressing F1 or the Help key on your keyboard.
This one off download is required so as to view iPIX® virtual images and many other internet technologies.
Unfortunately this problem is only experienced with Windows XP® which does not come with the Java Virtual Machine pre-installed.
